Picture Perfect for the Dains 2018 Golf Day

The Dains Golf Day took place on the eve of the Ryder Cup on 27th September 2018 at Branston Golf & Country Club in Burton upon Trent with over 60 clients and professionals competing in the Texas Scramble style event.

The weather was glorious, and everyone was in good spirits after a hearty breakfast to set them on their way.

We welcomed teams from Knights Bridge Solutions, FC Laser, Duff and Phelps, Nelsons, Oviso, Close Brothers, HSBC Commercial Banking, Franklands, and Lloyds Banking Group.

Not to be taken lightly players were practicing their putting before taking on the Championship Course. 

After a fabulous day the winners were crowned champions and Team "Townsend" took their prize.

Ashley Middleton, Richard Higham, Shaun Russell and Matt Hurst of Team “Close Enough” from Close Brothers came in second and Team “Wollington” (Chris Wollington of Dains, David & Angela Peak of Peak Property & Investments Ltd and Robert Winstanley of AP Webb) took a closely fought third place.
