Lichfield Office Volunteer Day at The National Memorial Arboretum
On Monday 8 October 2018 the Lichfield office took part in their annual volunteering day. We were lucky enough to have a further opportunity to spend the day at the National Memorial Arboretum near Alrewas, where everyone involved went that extra mile to support our local community.

The National Memorial Arboretum is the UK’s year-round centre of Remembrance; a spiritually uplifting place which honours the fallen, recognises service and sacrifice, and fosters pride in our country. The Arboretum is part of The Royal British Legion family of charities. Sited in the heart of the Nation, with 30,000 maturing trees and over 330 significant memorials set in 150 acres, it is a beautiful and lasting tribute to those who serve their country or who have died in conflict.
Both staff and Partners donated their time and all 23 involved, worked really hard to make a difference to the gardens at the memorial.
We were treated to a short tour of the new memorials and below are some of the photos of these together with photos of some of the team putting the backs into it!
At the end of the day, Tom the Head Gardener thanked us for our hard work and as before, he confirmed we had finished far more than other corporate volunteers.
