Jessica Howard and John Davenport will be scaling the heights to abseil off Millers Dale bridge in Buxton to support Safe & Sound.

This is the first-ever abseil which the pair have taken part in and they are looking forward to helping Safe and Sound - an organisation which supports victims of child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Colleagues at Dains and friends and family members are all backing the duo with cash donations ahead of the charity stunt on Saturday 29th February 2020.

Millers Dale Aqueduct sits high above the River Wye in Buxton, Derbyshire and is a popular spot for abseiling.

John said: “We are both really looking forward to the challenge as this is something different and it promises to be a great experience.

“We are very grateful for all the donations we’ve received so far but we are hopeful of raising a lot more money in the run-up to the event so hope people will dig deep to support us.”

Anyone who would like to sponsor Jessica and John can do so via their JustGiving fundraising page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/dains-accountants1

Safe and Sound has been tackling child sexual exploitation since 2002, providing high quality tailored one-to-one support to victims and young people in Derby and Derbyshire who are at risk.

Jessica added: “Hopefully, the money we raise will go a long way to helping Safe and Sound which is a local charity that the Derby Dains office has supported for some time.”
