When To Claim Under Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme?

HMRC have just released the official deadlines for making claims under the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme.

Claims must be submitted within 14 days of the month end, or the following working day if that falls on a weekend. HMRC will only accept a delayed submission where there is a reasonable excuse.

Key Deadlines for your Diaries: 

  • November 2020 claims must be submitted by 11:59pm on 14 December 2020
  • December 2020 claims must be submitted by 11:59pm on 14 January 2021
  • January 2021 claims must be submitted by 11:59pm on 15 February 2021
  • February 2021 claims must be submitted by 11:59pm on 15 March 2021
  • March 2021 claims must be submitted by 11:59pm on 14 April 2021
