Giving back to the community in which we live, and work is of paramount importance to the Partners and staff at Dains. We pride ourselves on our people focused values and are always aware of the impact that our business activities could have on the wider community. As a firm we want whatever we are doing to have only positive effects for our people, our clients and suppliers, our environment and our community. With that in mind, in 2006 we established “Dains in the Community” - a group tasked to develop innovative and exciting strategies to bring our corporate responsibility agenda to life and promote its importance to everyone within the firm.
We recognise that wellbeing and performance are linked, and improving our employees' ability to balance work and home life are important to us; that’s why we are committed to protecting their mental health and wellbeing.
Firm-wide policies and procedures are in place and we offer a free comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme, specifically designed to give practical and emotional support that employees need for everyday life.
As part of our commitment to promoting staff health and wellbeing, we have a number of Mental Health First Aiders in the firm and have recently added brand new mental wellbeing content to our established Wellbeing Centre available on our internal intranet.
