Dains as Non-Executive Chairman in March 2022 having previously been a Partner in a leading UK Private Equity House specialising in supporting buy-and-build strategies of ambitious management teams.
He chairs the Dains board and brings considerable experience of identifying, negotiating, transacting and integrating acquisitions as well as managing all aspects of high-growth businesses.
Earlier in his career, Neil worked as a corporate financier and banker with NM Rothschild in both Manchester and London, following 10 years as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager with ICI in Cheshire.
In his spare time, Neil enjoys horse riding, skiing, tennis and learning to play the guitar very slowly. He is a trustee of I Can Dance, a charity enabling children with disabilities to dance.
