Deal Summary 

General Building Plastics (“GBP”), a multi-branch Midlands-based supplier of high quality low maintenance building products, has been acquired by Managing Director and major shareholder Alan Sutherland in a management buy-out advised on by Roy Farmer of Dains Corporate Finance.

Founded in 1990, General Building Plastics (“GBP”) operates from six branches across the Midlands, and supplies a broad range of products for interior and exterior applications to the trade and DIY sectors.  GBP has won numerous awards, including being crowned The Midlands Family Business of the Year in the 2017 Family Business United national awards.
