Dains Accountants has appointed a new Partner Ian Carter to assist in the development of their Accountancy & Business Services offering in the Birmingham and the wider West Midlands marketplace. The latest in a series of high calibre recruits, Ian’s appointment is in direct response to the sustained growth of the department.

Ian has spent much of his career in Birmingham-based accountancy practices advising local owner-managed businesses on all aspects of accountancy, audit and tax compliance matters. Ian is a qualified accountant with over 25 years experience and brings wealth of practical knowledge and appreciation of the real challenges currently facing business owners and managers in the West Midlands area.

The Accountancy & Business Services side of the business has experienced impressive growth over the past three years. The firm reports a 66 per cent growth in fee revenue for this service line alone and during which time the team has also welcomed eleven new members of staff.
