The tournament was hosted by Stourport Sports Club and organised by Thursfields Solicitors and Cre8 Wealth Management.

We’re delighted to say that the sterling efforts of the Dains team, meant that we won the tournament and the trophy is currently being proudly displayed in the Dains Birmingham office.

Amy Smith, our Forensics Manager in Birmingham, who organised the event as well as being a great team captain, steered her team to a resounding victory! Captain Amy said: “I’d like to thank our team – they all played well, fairly, represented the firm fantastically, and I’m very proud of them! Thank you to Andrew Donaldson too, for putting me in touch with the organisers and letting half of the forensics team decamp for the afternoon.”

The competition was no easy feat. There were 7 teams in total and there were 21 games played in total, followed by 2 playoffs and the final.  Our team only lost one game during the entire tournament and then went on to beat this team in the final!  We’re still waiting for a final number from the organisers, but we know that over £1,000 was raised for charity.
