Staff at Dains, which is based in Centrum 100, hosted several events in recent months to help boost the coffers of Burton Hope.

The organisation was launched in August 2017 as part of an effort to bring together volunteers to help people in need from the homeless to the elderly.

It operates out of Burton Market Place every Saturday and Sunday and hands out over 100 food parcels every single week.

Dains Manager Stacy Brown recently handed a cheque worth over £370 to Burton Hope Chairman John Anderson.

Stacy said: “Homelessness is a major issue in the town and we wanted to be part of something that is making a difference locally.

“We have held lots of different events and all staff have really got behind efforts to support such an important cause in Burton Hope.

“We were glad to handover a cheque worth over £370 and also look forward to continuing to work with Burton Hope over the coming months.”

John said: “Thank you to the staff at Dains Accountants who have run events such as cake sales and dress down days to raise much needed funds for us. Thank you for your support.”
