Two senior promotions in the Stoke-on-Trent office

Dains are delighted to announce two senior promotions; Andrew Bentley to Accountancy and Business Services Partner and Simon Hawkins to Audit Director.

Andrew and Simon were both part of the existing team when Dains acquired the Stoke-on-Trent office from RSM Tenon back in August 2012. Since then the office has enjoyed sustainable growth and also moved to larger premises on Etruria Office Village.

Born and educated in Stoke-on-Trent, Andrew qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997 and has spent his entire career in the Stoke-on-Trent practice that is now Dains. Andrew advises owner-managed businesses on all aspects of accountancy and tax compliance issues. His 19 years of experience have given him not only a wealth of practical knowledge, but also an appreciation of the real challenges currently facing business owners in the area.

Simon has specialised in the field of audit since qualifying with KPMG in 2000. With responsibility for delivering audit and related services to a large portfolio of clients, Simon has extensive experience working with owner- managed businesses and UK subsidiaries of overseas companies operating in a wide variety of industry sectors. He enjoys working closely with his clients to understand their businesses and identify opportunities to offer valued advice.
