Festive treats such as a chocolate Santa and reindeer set and a chocolate Christmas stocking were also raffled off.

Amy Greenall, Commercial Services Supervisor at the Dains Derby office, co-ordinated the raffle which was drawn on Wednesday 11th December.

Amy said: “We are thrilled to raise so much money from our Christmas Charity raffle to give a helping hand to two fantastic local organisations.

“We are very grateful to staff from across the Dains offices, friends and family members who all bought raffle tickets.”

Dains Derby will hand over the cash to RSPCA Derby and District and Scropton Riding Centre for the Disabled in the run-up to Christmas.

Amy added: “I’d like to say a big thank-you to everyone who has supported the raffle and to businesses and colleagues who have donated wonderful prizes to make this such a successful fundraising initiative for our office charities.”
