Dains Corporate Finance team advise on the sale of Jeffreys Haulage to The Swain Group.

Deal Summary

Jeffreys Haulage, formed in 1966 and based in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, is a specialist in transport, distribution, vehicle maintenance and warehousing. The purpose built 16.5 acre site which Jeffreys Haulage relocated to almost forty years ago now houses an impressive 105,000 sq. ft. racked warehouse, with a 23,000 sq. ft. custom built transport operations, workshop, and administration block.

Managing Director Fred Perkin is staying at the helm of Jeffreys Haulage to help integrate and grow the business within The Swain Group. He commented: “We’re confident that the sale of the business will further enhance the ongoing development of Jeffreys Haulage and allow us to develop the range and quality of services that we provide.
