Dains Announces Appointment of New Director of Counter Fraud Services
A professional tasked with helping clients to tackle fraud risk has been hired by a prominent Midlands business.
He will be working to help businesses across the UK in his new role.
Allan has 23 years’ experience in criminal and civil investigations and a background in senior management and leadership.
He said: “I have expertise relating to fraud and bribery/corruption investigations and the application of extensive anti-fraud prevention and deterrence techniques and programmes to reduce loss.
“I’ve provided considerable guidance to commercial organisations, public sector and not for profits since 2007.”

Allan is a:
- Certified Fraud Examiner
- Accredited Counter Fraud Manager
- Accredited Counter Fraud Officer
- NHS Accredited Local Counter Fraud Specialist
- Financial Investigations Manager, and an
- ACAS trained HR Investigator.
He added: “At Dains my remit is to ensure we work with our clients to assist them in identifying, preventing and reducing their fraud risks, and should any client be subjected to financial loss, theft or disciplinary breaches, we will provide an investigation service operated in adherence with the civil and criminal legislation.”
Allan said he made the decision to join Dains due to its great reputation, its sensible growth and vision.
Outside of work Allan is a rugby referee and has coached the sport in the past. Away from the field, he can normally be found undertaking DIY jobs.
