Charitable accountants offer food support to City’s women’s refuge...
Dains has joined in the festive season's spirit of goodwill by donating food parcels to Lichfield's Pathway Project which supports women and their families who have suffered domestic abuse. Staff at Dains Lichfield Office have rallied together over the last few months donating basic foods to make up much needed food essentials for women and children escaping domestic abuse this Christmas time.
The Pathway Project was established in 1991 and provides support to women and children suffering domestic violence. The project manages three women's refuges in Burntwood, Tamworth and Lichfield whilst also providing support services, counselling and a 24 hour helpline.
Chairperson of ‘Dains in the Community’ - the corporate social responsibility team within the firm, Georgina Felles recently presented Project Pathway with the food hamper. Georgina said: “We try to support local charities and good causes throughout the year and felt that the Lichfield Project Pathway was a very worthy recipient. We are very happy to be able to help them by donating food during this season of giving and hope it will make a difference."
