Charitable accountants donate ‘sweet treats’ to local charity...

A local accountancy firm has joined in the festive season's spirit of goodwill by donating Christmas treats to Safe & Sound Derby, the local charity that works with children and young people who are at risk of being exploited through criminal practices.  Staff at Dains Derby Office have rallied together over the last few months donating special food treats to make up gift bags for the children.

Safe & Sound Derby has been working for over nine years in the City supporting vulnerable children and young people who are the victims of sexual exploitation and abuse.

Tina Crawford, pictured above, from ‘Dains in the Community’ - the corporate social responsibility team within the firm, recently presented Safe & Sound Derby with the treats for the children.  Tina said:   “We try to support local charities and good causes throughout the year and we made similar donations at Easter time.  Our contributions were so gratefully received we wanted to support the organisation again at this special time of year.”
