Work experience gives students the chance to experience the world of work or find out more about the career they are interested in.

Dains recognises that work experience provides opportunities and benefits for you as a student but also for our firm, which is why we are pleased to be able to offer a number of work experience placements each year.  Please take a few minutes, if you haven’t already done so, to read the rest of our website to find out more about the firm... this will help you to decide if Dains is the right place for you as you consider your future career options.

Work experience programmes are monitored by the Dains in the Community team, a group of staff who manage the firm’s charitable events and community projects, including our links with education.

In order to achieve a balance between offering beneficial and relevant placements to students and ensuring that the normal work of the firm can continue, it is necessary for Dains to limit the number of placement we can offer.  For this reason we ask all students interested in a work placement to complete an application form, which can be accessed below.

All applications will be reviewed by Dains and where we believe there is a match between what Dains can offer and you as a student are looking for, you will be invited to attend a short interview at one of our offices.  Once a placement has been agreed, Dains will design an appropriate placement which takes into account your future career plans, interests, abilities etc.
