In 2010, Dains took part in an employment project with Nether Stowe High School in Lichfield.

Year 11 pupils at the school were offered the opportunity to take part in the project which aims to prepare students for the imminent challenges of the job application and interview process. 

The programme was designed to cover the key steps and techniques involved in applying for a job, including how to present yourself in the best possible way at interviews.  

Each of the students was then set the challenge of applying for a position within Dains and successful candidates were then subject to a full interview process as part of the challenge.

The scheme culminated in three students winning one week's work experience with the firm and £50 worth of clothes vouchers towards their future  interview attire. 

We hope to impliment the scheme at other local schools in 2011.
