Dains have recently assisted in an International Merger on behalf of Gems TV.
Gems TV Limited (formerly Eagle Road Studios Limited) is based in Redditch and is the brain child of Steve Bennett and Clive Bryant, both of whom were the entrepreneurs behind the former Coleshill based dotcom start up Jungle.com.
Gems TV is a retailer of quality gemstone jewellery via Sky TV Shopping channels. They attracted interest from Thaigem Holdings Limited who supplied Gems TV with substantial quantities of gemstones direct from the producers in the Far East.
The merger took 3 months to complete and involved complex issues, international tax, financial reporting standards and transfer pricing. It also involved the laws of six countries, four time-zones, and eleven companies. The combined turnover of the merged business is in excess of US$100 million.
Thank you for the fantastic work that you did in order for Gems TV to merge with Thaigem Holdings. Dains were there to see the deal through. Had this not been the case, the deal would not have happened in the timescale that it did, and therefore may have not happened at all
