our community
In 2006, Dains in the Community was formed to support local communities, charitable causes and events. The partners, directors and staff support many events and are also involved in local initiatives within the local communities.
Dains in the Community aims to make a difference: internally locally, nationally and internationally.
Our primary objectives are to:-
- Take responsibility for the community
- Donate to and support charities that are important to employees and our clients
- Help to raise awareness
- To be a positive role model to other companies and an inspiration for them to follow
- Dains stretch out to support British Red Cross…
26 April 2007 -
The 'Dains in the Community Fund' have recently donated money to the British Red Cross to provide support for the local area, which included the purchase of two new stretchers.
British Red Cross Area Fundraising Manager Stephen Hunt said, “The Dains donation has gone into the West Midlands Resilient Funding used for purchasing emergency equipment, update old equipment and provide first aid training for volunteers.” The Red Cross responds to all kinds of emergencies, from major incidents to transport accidents, evacuations, floods and fires.
