our community
With 6 primary offices throughout the Midlands covering a wide area we continue to review our business operations to development our corporate social responsibility further. In 2006, Dains in the Community was formed to support local communities, charitable causes and events. The partners, directors and staff support many events and are also involved in local initiatives within the local communities.
Over the last 2 years Dains have committed a total of £37,200 through honorary work, fund raising and donations to local causes. Some examples are listed below…
- Hearts & Soles...

We are pleased to announce that 13 Dains representatives raised £1,400 for charity during the British Heart Foundation 10 mile Walk at Calke Abbey, Derbyshire in March. A special mention goes to Lindsey Smith and her husband who between them raised over half of the total.
The funds raised will help in the fight against heart and circulatory disease and are used to fund research, education and life-saving equipment and offer support to heart patients enabling them to return to a full and active way of life.
Spencer Wright, Chief Executive, commented: “As part of ‘Dains in the Community,’ Dains actively encourages partners, directors and staff to get involved with local initiatives and we are proud to have staff volunteering their time and energy into such worth while events.”
